1) "How is the sample portfolio ?"
=============================================================
The only stock left in our portfolio 'Havelock Europe' has
gained about 10% last month and brought our portfolio back
to -20.1%
We find that the UK stocks have suffered less of the market
situation then the USA stocks, so we have added 3 UK stocks
to our portfolio:
| BBC |
Ben Bailey |
| BRDN |
Burndene Inv |
| ETQ |
Energy Technique |
And from the US market:
| DLX |
Deluxe Corp
|
| BLL |
Ball Corp |
| ACMR |
A.C.Moore Arts
& Crafts Inc |
| CSLMF |
Consolidated
Mercantile Inc |
| CYBX |
Cyberonics Inc |
| WSFS |
WSFS Financial
Corp |
Where the first 3 stocks are old acquaintances which we where
forced to sell at a minus 20% level, but regained there price
level nicely.
The last three are new in our portfolio.

2) "What has happened with the stocks we sold ?"
=============================================================
After a period like this it is always good to look back and
see if we did the right thing. We looked at the stocks we
where forced to sell, because they went through there minus
20% under their highest point level.
Compared to the prices of 08-30 we see that some stock have
recovered nicely, (so we bought Deluxe and Ball again)
some stayed at about the same level, and some lost severely
like Office Depot, Nucor and LvL Medical.
Looking back, if we had held onto these stocks we would have
ended up on about the same result, but only because we would
have gained on Deluxe, Ball and Autozone.
If one of those stocks had declined we would have been in a
much worse condition.
The upside of the current situation is that we can focus on
the Winners, and did not have to worry last one and a half
month whether or not our stocks would decline!
