1) "How is the sample portfolio ?"
=============================================================
The sample portfolio is on -20.5% now, we also suffered
severe from the market situation where we where forced to
sell all our stock on the minus 20% level except our only
UK stock 'Havelock Europe' which is doing remarkably well
in spite of the market.

2) "Where to go from here ?"
=============================================================
We have experienced a worst
case scenario for our portfolio,
we where forced to sell stocks at 20% under their highest
point, and bought new stocks (Nucor, Big Lots, and Autozone)
which we also had to sell at 20% under their highest points
when the stock markets kept on declining.
This way we went from a nice +24% at the end of May to -20%
now.
Last month when we where on -7.5% we still hoped that we
where able to gain some ground again, but the markets kept
on going down.
But what is the current situation on the stock markets?
As we stated, there is not much reason for the poor condition
on the stock markets now, other then investors sentiment.
In June when the bad news was piling up again, the investors,
tired of bad news, became jumpy at every rumor, and
punishing even companies which where formally known as money
machines.
With the current market situation we stay put and wait until
the beginning of September when everybody is back from there
holiday, and the markets are hopefully more realistic.
By then we expect to find more stocks who have found the way
up again using our 'Buy the Winner' view and we hope to be
able to find enough promising stocks to put our portfolio on
the track again!
