1) "How is the sample portfolio ?"
=============================================================
We closed our sample portfolio
on 31-12-2002 with a
disappointing -40.5% result. The portfolio survived a lot of
scandals, like the Enron, Andersen, Worldcom affairs, but
we even had a 20% result in May, but the crawling crash
which started around the beginning of June was the killer
for our portfolio.
Things got worse step by step, but not bad enough to clearly
see the crash, so we stayed in the market and our result
went down step by step.
What do we expect of the stock market in 2003 ?
First of all with the threat of a war against Iraq and the
mediocre figures about the consumer trust we expect the
market to be weak for at least 6 months, when it really comes
to a war against Iraq there might be some interesting
movements in the stock market, oil and gold up, (gold is
already going up) and Airlines down.
If we take a look at the Winners view, there are a lot of
Gold companies on the top of the list, and as we saw last
month there are also tech stocks which have seem to have
found there way up again.
If you don't already subscribed to our Magic Charts program,
and want to be able to follow the stock market closely

of this website.
After installation, it will generate a base code with which

2) "What's new ?"
=============================================================
We are currently testing a new
module for the Australian
stock market, which we expect to release somewhere this month
This module will cover the major indices to start with (over
500 charts) and more interesting charts will be added later.
The Australian module will be an 'Complete' module, so
subscribers can request charts to be added in the module
(within reason).
